HARARE – She Leads Africa (SLA) has launched an Instagram live series where female entrepreneurs thriving in their respected industries will discuss their achievements.

SLA is a digital community platform that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams.

The series is hosted by Nyarai Chapingidza via the @sheleadsafrica Instagram account which boasts over 100 000 followers.

In the male-dominated world of start-ups and entrepreneurship, She Leads Africa, was founded by Yasmin Belo-Osagie and Afua Osei to offer knowledge and support to female entrepreneurs.

“She Leads Africa is a community that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams. With engaging online content and pan-African events, our vision is to become the number one destination for smart and ambitious young women,” said Nyarai Chapingidza.

She said the next Instagram live session will be on the 26th August at 12:30pm (SEAT) and will feature DJ Zinhle and Nokubonga discussing their co-written book Meeting Your Power.

The first Instagram live session featured Kim Jayde award winning MTV presenter and Revlon SA ambassador.

Kim Jayde was born and raised in Zimbabwe and pursued her further education in Cape Town as the value of getting an education was always stressed by her parents.

After graduating from varsity in 2013 and making a move to Cape-Town, Kim began actively involved in putting her modelling and fashion interests on the line.

In 2016, Kim was approached by Spice TV to cover red carpet and backstage interviews at S.A. Menswear Week. She was a natural and was invited to cover a few fashion weeks after that, this is when the presenter bug bit and she was hooked.
